As in, who are you and how did you get here? Honestly, I just kind of want a show of hands from whoever the hell reads this and how they got here/found this/whatever. Because now that someone at school mentioned they found this (or maybe it was my dA?) through google, I'm just wondering how many people, if any, read my pointless random mumblings about life/school/craziness.
Vote in my poll on the right while you're at it, too, okay?
It's over 30 degrees and DAMN that's warm,

Lulz. No one reads this! Although somehow I'll get posts rated as "awesome sauce!"? Hm. Oh well!

Moulin Rouge
is an amazing movie.b Just watched it for the 700th time. It always makes me cry, but it's one of those movies I can watch over and over again. It's like Forrest Gump in that sense. And both are in my top three movies. It goes Forrest Gump, Little Miss Sunshine, Moulin Rouge. And then filling out the top five would probably be Wall-E and Ever After. Yay for good movies. <3
So this week has been busy. New term and all. Pre-calc with Keith seems fine. I finally have a math teacher I like. It's only taken since.... Forever. Honestly. Middle school until now, I've had crappy math teachers. That's probably one reason I hate the suject so much. But anyways. Keith is okay. And he lets us go to Cafe Jerk! Actually, it's Cafe JFK, but ever since I saw the sign at the beginning of the year with the typo "Cafe JRK," I've just been calling it Cafe Jerk. But yeah. I'd only been there once this year until today and we went all the time last year with Barnes and Parrish. I got a bagel today. It was awkward. Awkward bagel is awkward! Awkard bagel is also delicious. Mmm...
English is... I dunno. Usually it's among my favorite classes, but I'd only heard bad things about Ms. Haddad and, well, I dunno. She hasn't done anything to make me like her yet. I think the redeeming quality will be the people. The seating chart is in alphabetical order, so it's a good thing I generally like all the people on my side of the alphabet. Not that I don't like the people on the other end, but there are a few that get on my nerves. Whatever. English is funny because Cat is determined to make Haddad hate her. See, everyone says Haddad loves minorites and will kind of ignore people if they're white. So Cat, being half Chinese, is determined to make the teacher hate her. It is HILARIOUS. She plans on being as satirical, stereotypical, offensive, racist and overall obnoxious as possible. Something along those lines. It will be awesome. xD
Intro to 2D art is't that bad, either. Pakan seems okay. I don't really have any friends in my class. Some aquaintances. One of the guys at my table seems okay, though. Except for when he talks to the other guy at my table, who I can't stand because he does nothing. Ugh. He's annoying. But whatever. I can make friends, right?
And then orch is orch. New seating chart, I'm a first violin again, with Tyler as my stand partner again. I feel stupid because I can't play the Hayden piece. But we started playing it when I was still a second. Same for Tyler. So we have to relearn it. And it's hard. And way too long. That could be a "that's what she said" joke, couldn't it? Yuckyuckyuckyuck to relearning a difficult piece.
So other than that, no news. WAIT. Newspaper news, sort of. Just fun stories from newspaper. And bad stories. In the sense that no one turned in their stories and they were due last Wednesday. But I did! And Hannah and Emma turned in the story they wrote together. So Tricia loved us for that. So then Erik and I decided we would write a story at the beginning of the meeting. I forget what we made the headline, but it was something along the lines of "Newspaper Editor Murders Staff For Not Turning In Stories." It was pretty funny (maybe just to us?), but we stopped once we realiized it would get too bloody. Good description, though. Lol. When Erik quit typing, Tricia had already killed Mr. Robinson and I was quaking in a corner. Although she wasn't going to kill me because I turned in a story! Haha. But it would've been way too bloody for the school newspaper. So we stopped. Okay. So it was mostly Erik that wrote it, but I helped with description.
And on a random note, Haddad let us go to Cafe Jerk, too, but because I went first hour, I stayed back in the room, right? And Cat and TJ and Kevin and a few other people stayed behind, too. So then TJ asked me if I had a blog. Because apparently he was on google looking stuff up about La Catrina for help and he saw something that was all, "La Catrina! Spanish 4! Ms. Hoffman!" And then my name was at the bottom. So I went on google after school and was trying to figure out how he found this. If you actually google search "La Catrina spanish 4 Hoffman," a journal entry on my dA is the first thing that shows up. So I'm wondering if he found this, or if he found my dA. Hmmm.... Either way, it's nice to know more people read my random mutterings than I thought, yes?

Facts About Keegan
1. I hate being put on the spot.
2. I get frazzled/frustrated fairly easily.
3. I also cry fairly easily (which bothers the hell outta me).
4. Being put on the spot makes me frazzled/frustrated.
5. Being frazzled/frustrated to a certain point makes me cry. Out of frazzled-ness/frustration. If that makes sense.
Whoever is reading this is probably all, "WTF. I don't care." Fine. Whatever. I don't care that you don't care. But that extra dance practice was stupid. I know everyone was getting put on the spot, but I honestly felt like she wasn't actualy listening to what I said. And what the fuck? She was all, "You shouldn't be nervous." Umm... I wasn't. I apologize for standing beneath the lights and being in a fucking goddamned heat wave. Ugh. Whatever. And I wasn't upset. I was fucking dying of heat exhaustion and I was fucking frustrated because I felt like you weren't actually listening to me. And I was being put on the spot, which is le suck.
Ugh. Sorry. I just need to complain about Amy. Worst dance teacher I've ever had. I don't feel like I'm getting better at all. Which is bad. Anyways, we had an extra practice and it started out okay and then tap totally sucked ass. And I asked her how the cramp roll turns go again. Because I don't remember and I just fake the hell outta them. She said something stupid about how I'll eventually get it and blah blah blah I don't even remember. I mean, she showed me, but I doubt it'll even help. Honestly, she taught it to us once, put it in the dance, and then never really showed us again. We spent one class time going across the floor doing them. And then the week after, I asked her to go over them again and in less then a minute, she showed us, and that was pretty much it. Ugh. I'll ask her if we can do them cramp roll turns across the floor tomorrow. Except we never do across the floor. Which is stupid. Because it helps. We did across the floor with Julie all the time.
UGH. I HATE YOU, AMY.
Good thing I have no contact with her outside of dance. Because I complain about her a lot.
I've been tired all day even though I woke up at 1:30,

Moar le tired.
It's horrible. Honestly. I've been so tired. At least I get a three day weekend before I start up the new semester.
Finals went well, I think. Did I say that already in the post before? Ahem. Friday's finals went well. Except for civ, maybe. Heh heh... >____>;
JDRF walk at the Mall of America this morning. I woke up at 7. It sucked. Yay 5 hours of sleep...? And then after walking for an hour with Kate, and I had to go to ballet and my legs were tired and I was tired and it was no fun. I want a nap. But even though I'm tired, the walk and ballet combined make me feel like I'm not going to fall asleep. Haaaaaaate.
I watched Ghost Town last night and though it was good,

Yesterday was a good day.
Despite Friday night kinda sucking (I took down the post about it), the rest of the weekend was good. We had a birthday party for me with my mom's side of the family. Saturday was filled with cleaning and such. As for the actual party...
Everyone got here around 4 yesterday. Lots of food. Judy brought fondue and that was goooood. So much hors d'ourves (sp?) and desserty stuff. Lol. Who needed real food? But it was fun. I showed Cri and Allie some youtube videos and we were on the computer a little. And we ate a lot. And Cullen and Claire were annoying as usual. And the food was good.
I got some awesome gifts, too. My mom actually still owes me a gift, since she didn't get out to go shopping for my actual birthday. (It was right around the time Dad got his surgery.) So she owes me an iPod dock. BUT ANYWAYS. From Cindy and Ron and fam, I got two really cute sweater-y things from Macy's. I guess when Cindy went shopping, she took Kristin and one of her friends with. So I had a 22 and a 23 year old picking out my gifts. WOO! I love it! I never would have picked them out for myself, but I liked them. From Judy and co., I got the CD "19" by Adele. Love it. Also, Little Miss Sunshine on DVD, this "would you rather" game and two nail polishes (mellow yellow and violet sparks). I actually painted my nail with the second one. WOO! From Jimmy and Michelle and fam, I got Wall-E on DVD (WOO!) and some candy. And them from Bobby and Anna and fam, I got Bath & Body Works stuff. WOO! Those products make me happy. OH. And these awesome fuzzy socks that are grippy on the bottom. And from Rick and Jodie, I just got $25, but that's fine by me because I could always use more money. (I totally just wrote dinero, but then I read it over again and was like, "Wow. That sounds stupid.")
And then after cake and stuff, I played Rock Band with Cori and Tommy and Spencer. Cullen and Claire played for a little, too. So Cori and Tommy and Just were her until, like, 9. Lawl. Allie left early with Joe because she wasn't feeling all that great. D:
So yeah. I need to go call Kate. We have to practice our jury today and I have dance tonight at 5:45. So... We need to get that figured out.
I'm hungry,

So yesterday was supa fun. Then today... Mom and Cooper left around 10:45 to take him back to Duluth. I must admit... I do kinda miss him when he's gone. I mean, it's not too weird because I've been used to 4 people in the house when Spencer was at college, but he's back at home now, so instead of a family of 3, we're still a family of 4. Err... You know? And I actually talk to Spencer more that I talk to Cooper. But me and Cooper talk a lot more than we used to. And I'll miss hearing his guitar playing. That's one of the things I noticed after he first left in the fall. No guitar playing from across the hall. Oh well... I think he was wanting to get back around now, anyways.
So yeah. I need to go call Kate. We have to practice our jury today and I have dance tonight at 5:45. So... We need to get that figured out.

[EDIT] Sleepover, my birthday, back to school
Okay. So I've been busy since I last wrote. My dad had his surgery on Friday and that went well. His arm hurts a lot now, though. But anywho.
Okay. So let's start with the sleepover for my dance team. It was AWSUMZ. It was at Shannon and Kelsey's house and it's a big house, so a bunch of the girls were like, "omgnowai." Of course, I'm used to it now because I've been over there a few times and yeah. We had everyone from the team there except Emily. So that's 7 of us. We started out playing Rock Band for a little. Then dinner (lasagna) and then we decorated our shirts. ^___^ Supa fun. We did black shirts/tank-tops/whatever and Christina brought pink puffy paint, along with two types of silver puffy paint. One was metallic and the other was glittery. So on the front we decided to write Just Jammin' with the pink in cursive, with a silver (glitter) '09 by it. That was hilarious. We're all sitting there like, "Uh... Who wants to go first?" 'Cause none of us wanted to go first and mess up. So we're all practicing on newspaper, like, "Does this look good..?" Finally Christina goes first when none of us were looking and that totally took the pressure off. They're all a little different, but they're awesome. We made one for Emily, too. Because that'd be mean not to. Didn't make one for Miss Amy, though, because, well... We all hate her. But I'll get into that later. So then we eventually end up watching Step Up 2. I lurve that movie! That dancing is AMAZING. So we're all really hyper aftwerwards and we get the great idea to make up our own hip hop dance. Omg. HILARIOUS. And really fun.
We didn't get too far, but then we all started talking about dance and how we should show Amy and she'd be all, "That's nice, now let's get to work." And THAT'S when we started complaining about her FOREVA. None of us really feel like we're getting better with Amy teaching us. Last year with Julie, I actually felt like I was getting better. Amy doesn't really push us hard enough. She doesn't even really do anything with stretching. Christina's been leading the stretching, but Amy never really gives us enough time. Like, Kylie was complaining about how we never do abs anymore. And everyone else agreed that we need to be doing them. Julie's warm-ups last year we pretty intense and I felt like I was being worked hard. And I LIKED that. Amy never really goes around and helps you stretch farther. And I'm pretty sure none of us can do open turns. Which isn't good. I know Victoria orginally said she would come in like, once a month and help us. She's been in twice. And those were the best days, I think. She works us, but I feel so much more assured and I feel like I'm working harder and getting better. One thing we said we should do is see if we could get Victoria in more often and maybe meet for extra practices too work on technique and stuff. Not with Amy. And if not Victoria, maybe Lou's daughter Lauren, because we know she'd work us hard, too. Because I know I want someone that will work me harder and everyone else does, too.
So anyways. We complained for awhile and we talked about a ton of other stuff that night. And then we went up to the play room where we were gonna sleep and got ready for bed and talked some more. So we were to bed by like, one or two. And then in the morning, Joan made Mickey Mouse waffles for us (that were actually shaped like Mickey) and we wrote our names on the backs of our shirts with the metallic silver puffy paint. We left them there to dry and Shannon and Kelsey gave them to us on Monday.
As for my birthday on Sunday.... It was AWESOME. Tori came over and it was supa fun. We talked for like, an hour after she first came over. And then we realized we needed to go busy. See, she needed photos for her photo class and I was going toI "model" for her. Lawl. We walked to Washburn and took pics on the playground. Super fun, but super cold after awhile. So we eventually had to cal my mom to pick us up. Then we promptly made cocoa and talked more. Tip for cocoa: To make it more chocolatey, melt something chocolate like a Hershey's kiss in it. We actually put a dark chocolate Dove in the cocoa. Yumm... We then made coopckaes which was supa fun. We made videos and I put them on le YouToobz. http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=C1D6E2D2A6306F8F
Then we played Pokemonz and I totally pwned her in the free battle, although she pwned me in most of the mini games. Or else the computer played pwned us. Lawl. xD And then she had to go... I'd talk more about it, but, well... You can easily see what we did by looking at the vids on le YewToobz. It was an amazing 17th birfday, though.
And then school started again after two weeks off for winter break. Blah. Not much to say. I actually missed yesterday. Headache-y feeling all day.
OH. And I suppose I should talk about dance on Monday night. Because there's a lot to do with Amy. I was totally being less discreet with my hatin' on her, but she didn't notice. It was... I dunno. Like, she was all (jokingly) saying she was a genius or something and didn't w get the memo? So I say something along the lines of, "Sorry, but no." And Shannon's just like, lol-ing at that. (Holy crap. I just turned lol into a verb. Although because I actually read as "lahl" instead of "laugh out loud" or a replacement for "haha," lol-ing actually makes sense to me.) So yeah. And just other stuff. And this one part none of us really like, I just commented on it like, "I don't feel like my leap is as good as it could be. I think the counts for that part are a little weird." To which she said I might not be getting enough momentum or something. And to which I mutter, "No... It's the counts." Luckily it was just loud enough for only the team to hear and not Amy. But yeah. I was being much more openly hostile to her than usual. Usually, I just try to fake pleasantness. I decided not to. Hmm.. Maybe she doesn't understand sarcasm? But yeah. Me and Shannon kept pretending to shoot ourselves, which made Christina lol.
ANYWAYS. I suppose I should stop complaining about dance. I love my team. The people are awesome! It's just... Our teacher sucks. And our formations are like, the exact same as Personalit Plus'. And their the younger pre-comp team. Which just shows that Amy has no creativity. And my mom was just like, "It's Victoria. Amy has to run it by Victoria." Uh, sorry mom, but it's not Victoria. Victoria actually helps. It's Amy who's making up the routines. Hell, we haven't even gotten to the end of them. Almost with tap, but I jazz? Hell no. So much for finishing them before winter break. Amy sucks at teaching. She actually taught herself something wrong one time. So she had to like, reteach herself (in front of us) before she could actually teach us. It was... bad.
OKAY. NOW I'M DONE COMPLAINING.
Other than stupid Amy, my life seems pretty peachy so far,
Keegan <33
[EDIT]
Lawl. I totally linked the wrong this. FIXED.

[EDIT] 2009!
Happy New Year!
My birthday is soon,
Keegan <3
[EDIT]
So my New Year's Eve was a little different than usual. Usually we have a big party at our house. But with Dad's broken arm, we cancelled it. My mom and I went to my aunt Judy's house. That was different, but fun. We fondued (Yes, I made it a verb.) and played Apples to Apples for over an hour. I pwned at it. I had 1o green cards by the time we were done. WOO! Besides fondue and Apples to Apples, we just hung out and talked and Allie showed off her art. What she's doing at Stout looks like SO much fun. The only thing is, she says there isn't the greatest English program there, which is a bit of a turn-off for me, since I like writing. Still, all the art stuff... That, writing, and photography. That's what my future college needs to have good programs for. *Crosses fingers*
ANYWHO. Didn't nothing today. At least, that's what it felt like. Can't wait for tomorrow, though. I've got a sleepover tomorrow at Shannon and Kelsey's house for our dance team. We're gonna decorate t-shirts so we'll have them for the lock-in before comps start. Although that's not until Spring... BUTOHWELLIT'LLBESUPAFUN.
Excited plz?
Dammit I still need posterboard for my project,
